Improvers, Intermediate & Advanced options

To ensure the best experience for you and the whole group, your instructor will guide you when you’re ready to move up a level, making sure you have the skills, technique and confidence to succeed at the next stage.

 Please be aware that the instructor may recommend moving you to a different stage if it better supports your progress and the overall class experience.

KEEP GROWING 18:00h-19:00h

SALSA

IMPROVERS

(STAGE 3) ON1 

​

This stage is perfect if you’ve completed beginner courses and want to build solid skills. We highly recommend staying at this level for a minimum of one academic year. Not all Improvers courses will be the same, each course will introduce different concepts and steps to help you keep improving progressively.

 

You’ll focus on:

  • Strengthening your basic steps and timing

  • Learning new turns, shines (solo footwork), and partner patterns

  • Improving your connection and leading/following techniques

  • Building confidence on the social dance floor

FINDING FLOW 20:00h -21:00h

SALSA

INTERMEDIATE

(STAGE 4) ON1 

​

For dancers comfortable with the fundamentals, the Intermediate classes take you further by:

  • Adding more complex combinations and syncopated footwork

  • Exploring musicality and styling in greater depth

  • Practicing smoother transitions and partner communication

  • Increasing dance speed and improvisation skills

BUILDING STYLE 19:00h -20:00h

SALSA

ADVANCED

(STAGE 5) ON1 

To access this stage, you need to be invited by the instructor. This ensures you’re fully prepared to take on the more challenging moves and techniques covered at this level. Feel free to ask the instructors if you’re eligible to join.

This stage is for experienced dancers who want to push their limits. You’ll work on:

  • Complex patterns, fast turns, and advanced shines

  • Intricate timing, syncopations, and rhythm changes

  • Creative styling, body movement, and expression

  • Leading/following subtle cues and social dance mastery.

There will be no further high-level salsa courses available.
